Our Pre-K Overview & FAQs
Puzzle Pieces Learning Academy PCS offers a high-quality, inclusive Pre-K program aligned with the Maryland Blueprint for Education. Our curriculum is a unique blend of two research-based approaches: The Creative Curriculum and the Bank Street Approach. This combination fosters a child-centered environment where students learn through play and discovery while building a strong foundation for academic success. We use the GOLD assessment system to monitor each student’s progress and inform our instruction. Our program is designed to be flexible, with classrooms featuring modular furniture and various learning zones that adapt to different activities and learning styles.
We believe that education is a journey for the entire family. Therefore, our commitment extends beyond the classroom to provide classes and workshops for parents and guardians through our community partnerships. We believe this comprehensive approach strengthens our community and provides a powerful support system for our students. Our partnerships with Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS) and the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) ensure our program meets the highest standards and provides our students with the best possible start. We invite you to schedule an information session to learn more about our comprehensive program.
