Community Support Services

At Puzzle Pieces Learning Academy, our commitment to a holistic approach extends beyond the classroom walls. We provide a comprehensive array of services that include both dedicated on-site support and connections to invaluable community resources. Our experienced team of professionals offers specialized, in-school services such as speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and counseling, all tailored to meet the individual needs of our students. Recognizing that a child’s well-being is connected to their entire support system, we also actively build partnerships with local community organizations, non-profits, and service providers. Our staff works closely with families to act as a crucial link, helping them navigate and access external services, workshops, and resources that promote our students' academic, social, and emotional development. By seamlessly integrating both school-based and community-based support, we ensure every student has the tools to reach their full potential and thrive both in and out of the classroom.

Parent Organization (PO) & Town Hall Meetings

At Puzzle Pieces Learning Academy, our Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) actively fosters a strong and collaborative school community. Through their efforts, the PTO organizes a dynamic calendar of events and spearheads initiatives that directly enrich the student experience. A cornerstone of this partnership is our Parent Roundtable Discussions, a forum where school leadership and the PTO share crucial updates on school initiatives and upcoming events. These meetings are designed to ensure clear communication and provide a direct opportunity for parents to ask questions and engage with the administration. Family Workshops & Classes 

At Puzzle Pieces Learning Academy PCS, our commitment to a well-rounded education extends to the entire family. Through our partnerships with community organizations and external vendors, we provide a diverse range of classes and workshops for both students and their families. These collaborations allow us to leverage community expertise, offering unique learning opportunities that support lifelong growth. For students, this may include enrichment in the arts, sports, or technology. Concurrently, we offer classes and workshops for parents and caregivers that cover essential topics such as GED preparation, financial literacy, and effective communication strategies. By providing these comprehensive resources, we strengthen the family as a whole, fostering a powerful partnership between home and school that directly enhances a child's educational journey.

Behavior Support Services & Access To Extended Services 

At Puzzle Pieces Learning Academy PCS, our commitment to the well-being of every student is exemplified by the Curiosity Corner Health Center, our on-site hub for a comprehensive array of services. Recognizing that a child's health and learning are deeply connected, we provide a range of specialized support directly within the school. Our dedicated team offers services such as ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) to help students develop positive behaviors and social-emotional skills, as well as speech and language therapy to enhance communication. Additionally, the health center provides essential physical health services, including physical health exams and immunizations, ensuring students are healthy, safe, and ready to learn. This integrated approach allows us to provide Wrap Around Services that directly address student needs, serving as a vital connection point for families to a broader network of support.
