Community Partnerships
Our Community Partnerships program is a cornerstone of our school's mission, deeply intertwined with Baltimore County Public Schools' emphasis on fostering strong community connections as outlined in Policy 8400: Community Partnerships. This policy underscores the importance of collaboration between schools and community organizations to enhance the educational experience for all students. To become a partner with PPLA PCS, organizations complete an application process that includes outlining their potential contributions and aligning their goals with the school's needs. PPLA PCS manages this process internally by actively promoting partnership opportunities, establishing clear criteria, and utilizing a dedicated committee to review applications and conduct interviews. Once approved, partners are welcomed into the PPLA PCS family and demonstrate their commitment through active participation in our Community Engagement and Fundraising Committee, where they collaborate monthly to brainstorm innovative fundraising strategies and plan impactful community engagement events. This program opens up yearly for interviews and applications. All applications are reviewed and timeline responses provided with next steps.
